Push came to live with us in May 1999 at the age of six and a half. His first owner couldn't keep him due to a serious illness. He has an AKC CDX and ASCA CD. He is the grandfather of my other Aussie, Davis. Since he got here, we've been getting to know each other and doing a lot of obedience training.

I showed him in a UKC trial in Novice B in July. I knew he could heel pretty well, but he really surprised me. Only one point off for heel on leash and zero points off for the heel off leash exercise. Then he lost 1.5 points for his recall, for a crooked front and finish that was crooked and too far back. Then, he flunked the sit-stay. But I was very impressed to see how well he works! If he hadn't gone down during the sit, he would have had a 197.5 (would have been first place in Novice B and HIT). Good dog, Push!
